Parent Information

This year BGJHS will be providing parent information virtually for students who attend in-person classes. Please click on the link below to learn tips from your grade level teachers on how to help students be successful in their classrooms. Homework Help

NTI Homework Help

Does your child need help to complete assignments on their NTI days?  If so, Bowling Green Junior High teachers will be at Parker-Bennett-Curry, Dishman McGinnis, and T.C. Cherry Elementary schools Monday thru Thursday each week from 3:30-4:30 pm to assist BGJHS students in any subject. Students will need to enter through the cafeteria doors at each school.

In-Person Homework Help

Students also have the option to stay after school at BGJHS on their in-person days until 4:00 pm to receive homework help. Transportation is provided to the student's nearest elementary school or you may pick them up in the front of BGJHS at 4:00 pm.

Confirmed Positive COVID-19 Cases in BGISD

T. C. Cherry Elementary has confirmed one case of COVID-19 on October 27, 2020. School Health Professionals worked with staff to notify five students identified as school contacts, providing information about quarantining. The total number of individuals needing to quarantine may be updated when the Barren River District Health Department completes official contact tracing. The employee that is confirmed positive last attended school today, but will not return until the Barren River District Health Department has determined they meet all guidelines to return.

BGJHS Athletic Attendance Guidelines

Per local health department guidelines, until further notice, BGJHS athletics will be selling tickets at a 30% capacity for our facilities. Tickets will be sold on a first come first serve basis.

Attendance to events will require spectators to be in masks or a facial covering at all times & you will be required to practice proper social distancing.  Temperature checks will also be conducted at the gates prior to entering.

Capacity guidelines for specific facilities:

Softball: 100 spectator (60 in stands only)

Soccer at the Pit: 450

Soccer on upper field: 100

Volleyball: 360

Football: 1740
