Kindergarten & Preschool Pre-Registration

Parents and guardians planning to enroll their child/children in one of the Bowling Green elementary schools for kindergarten or preschool may pick up an enrollment packet at the schools during the week of April 24 - 28, 2017. Families wishing to take a tour of the school should schedule an appointment.

February Ambassadors-of-the-Month Recognized February Ambassadors

Read Across America Contest Winners Receive Prizes! RAA Costume winners

Congratulations to the Read Across America contest winners.  Winners of the Seussical art contest were Paw Shee, Brayan T., DaQuarius, Tyler, Batool, Caelin, Odalis, Ja'Kayla, Blessing, Angelica, Benji, and Tony.  The winners of the costume contest were Miss Amy and Fahed.  Winning the "If I Ran the School" writing contest in the fifth grade were Khadija, Ma'Tayla, NaSiyah, DeMarcus, Zander, Eh Soe, Paw Shee, Aissatou, Thalia, Bryan V., Paris, Pre, Alex, Charles, Adrian, Arionna, and Gabe.  Mr. Wheeler won the door decorating contest.  Ms. Eason, the librarian, awarded prizes to each of these students.

Winners of Black History Month Reading Contest announced! Black history contest winners

Winners of the Black History Month reading contest were announced on Friday, March 3.  Students had to read a biography, a history book, and a book written or illustrated by an African-American.  Congratulations to Destiny, Paw Shee, and Pantaleona who each won a new book.

Principal Taped to the Wall! Mr. Jackson taped to the wall

Principal Delvagus Jackson was in a sticky situtation Friday morning:  he was taped to the wall in the gym!  He volunteered for this assignment where students and teachers taped him to the wall using long strips of duct tape.  This timeout was all for a good cause:  raising money for pediatric cancer research.  You can find more pictures in the photo gallery.
