As of February 16, 2017, Bowling Green Independent Schools has implemented a new online application system that will be used to process applications for ALL vacancies in the district. As of this date, our district will no longer accept paper applications for any position. All applications must be submitted through the TalentEd Recruit & Hire site.
How to apply
Click “Apply” by the position for which you wish to apply.
Click “Apply for this Position” in the top right corner.
Click “Create New Account and Apply” for first time users.
Returning users can login at the top of the page using your existing Username and Password.

First Time Users
Once you have created your own account, you can “Apply” for a position and begin completing an application. Be sure you click SUBMIT at the end of the application before the posting deadline. Otherwise, your application will not be considered. Your information will be saved allowing you to return at any time to submit additional applications. You will also receive a confirmation email that will confirm the submittal of your application. Please be sure to remember your Username and Password to apply for future postings.
Information to know before you begin to apply:
Depending on the position you are applying for, you will be asked to upload a copy of one or more of the following:
High School Diploma
KY Teaching Certificate
Passed Praxis Scores
Alternate Route to Teaching Acceptance Letter
MVR/5 Year Driving Record Report - Bus Driver applicants only
When prompted please list at least three professional references. (Personal references not accepted) You will need to provide an email address for each reference.
EPI – For Certified Applicants only
Once you have complete your online application, Certified applicants will receive an email asking you to take the EPI Survey. This survey will take approximately 50 minutes to complete, allowing 90 seconds per question. Upon completion of the survey, applicants will then be contacted by the Director of Personnel to schedule a screener interview at the district level. The certified application process is considered complete after the screener interview.
Criminal Record Check
Pursuant to KRS 160.380, every new hire must be fingerprinted and a State and/or Federal background check completed on the individual. Your employment will be contingent upon a background record free of any information which, in the opinion of the school district, would have an adverse effect upon your ability to perform your assigned duties.
