Bowling Green Independent Schools intend to provide all students in-person school five days per week for the upcoming year, which begins August 5, 2021. School officials will continue to monitor both the level of community transmission of COVID-19, as well as vaccination coverage, and will adapt operations and requirements as necessary.
Currently, 40.27% of Warren County residents are vaccinated, 48.75% of those 18 and over.
Warren County has a COVID incidence rate, or daily cases per 100K population of 37.6 (August 4, 2021).

The Bowling Green Junior High student drop off and pick up zone is located in the back of the school. Cars enter and exit from Campbell Lane, and around the school to the back doors. The front doors of the school are not opened until the start of school at 7:25 a.m. The bus loop exit will be open only after the last buses have unloaded, approximately 7:15 a.m. and 2:50 p.m.

Beginning in August 2021, the Bowling Green Independent School District will pay full-time bus drivers up to $25 per hour for school day routes, a minimum of four hours per school day. Superintendent Fields recommended the rate change to help recruit and retain the best drivers to safely transport students to and from school each day. The Board of Education voted to increase the rate on Monday, June 14, 2021.
