Early Release Days 2024-2025

New for 2024-2025 is the addition of four Early Release Days for all K-12 students. 

  • September 18, 2024
  • January 15, 2025
  • February 26, 2025
  • March 26, 2025

On each of the Early Release Days, all schools will dismiss two hours earlier than a typical school day (BGLC at 12:05 p.m., BGJHS at 12:35 p.m., elementary schools at 1:00 p.m., BGHS at 1:15 p.m.) These afternoons will provide more time for extended planning and data review for K-12 faculty and offer opportunities for families to schedule appointments for students without missing school: checkups, orthodontists, etc. 

ONLINE REGISTRATION:

Online Registration is open for the 2024-2025 school year. Families of returning students may log in to the Infinite Campus Parent Portal to begin. For questions or help with login, email the IC Portal Help Desk. New students, enrolling in BGISD for the first time will need to contact the school to complete registration. 

Online Registration takes the place of the annual student enrollment form, field trip permission forms, release agreements, etc. Plus, family and emergency contact information shared through this process will be utilized by appropriate school and district personnel throughout the school year.
