Board of Education Approves Salary Increase for 2023-24
The Bowling Green Board of Education has approved a minimum of a 4% salary increase for all employees for 2023-2024, with first-year teachers having a starting pay of $42,848.
Additionally, for the first time, BGISD will have a minimum hourly wage of $15 per hour for support staff. Specific role groups will have increases between 5-21%, which include instructional assistants, administrative assistants, custodians, bus monitors, child nutrition, computer system analysts, and network engineers.
