Purples Win with Project Challenges and Creative Digital Arts at STLP 2024

Several BGISD students saw their names on the Wall of Winners and were recognized on stage at the STLP State Championship, held at the Rupp Arena and Central Bank Center March 27, 2024. The competition included submitting and presenting projects, competing in live challenges, and visiting hands-on learning stations as part of a new STLPx (STLP Experience).

STLP Challenge Winners

Students of all grade divisions may choose one of over 20 challenge categories to participate. Challenges are mostly on-the-spot competitions where a prompt or scenario is shared that must be solved with technology. Some challenges ask participants to bring a presentation, but then have a panel of judges. BGISD students were among the top in three different categories.
