Employment Opportunities

Click “Apply” by each and every position for which you wish to apply.
Click “Apply for this Position” in the top right corner.
Click “Create New Account and Apply” for first time users.
Returning users can login at the top of the page using your existing Username and Password.


First Time Users
Once you have created your own account, you can “Apply” for a position and begin completing an application. Be sure you click SUBMIT at the end of the application before the posting deadline. Otherwise, your application will not be considered. Your information will be saved allowing you to return at any time to submit additional applications. You will also receive a confirmation email that will confirm the submittal of your application. Please be sure to remember your Username and Password to apply for future postings.

Information to know before you begin to apply:
Depending on the position you are applying for, you will be asked to upload a copy of one or more of the following:

  • High School Diploma
  • College Transcript/s
  • Kentucky Paraeducator Assessment (KPA) score
  • KY Teaching Certificate
  • Passed Praxis Scores
  • Alternate Route to Teaching Acceptance Letter
  • MVR/5 Year Driving Record Report - Bus Driver applicants only

When prompted please list at least three professional references. (Personal references not accepted) You will need to provide an email address for each reference.

For Certified Elementary applicants only
Upon completion of the survey you will then be contacted by the Director of Personnel to schedule a screener interview at the district level. The certified application process is considered complete after the screener interview. 

Criminal Record Check
Pursuant to KRS 160.380, every new hire must be fingerprinted and a State and/or Federal background check completed on the individual. Your employment will be contingent upon a background record free of any information which, in the opinion of the school district, would have an adverse effect upon your ability to perform your assigned duties. Additionally, employment shall also be contingent on receipt of a letter from The Cabinet for Health and Family Services provided by the individual documenting that the individual does not have a substantiated finding of child abuse or neglect in records maintained by the Cabinet. These will be completed at not cost to the new hire.

There are numerous routes to initial teacher certification in Kentucky that include traditional and nontraditional pathways. The Kentucky General Assembly, under KRS 161.048 has enacted alternative routes to certification for persons who have demonstrated exceptional work and/or educational experiences.
