The Bowling Green Independent School District app makes it easy to stay up to date with district and school news and events. The district app is available for anyone to download and receive notifications, including community members that want to know about news and upcoming events.

Rooms is a secure environment within the app that is only available to families with students currently attending the district, students, and active teachers, staff, and administration.

Rooms can be accessed from the website (SIGN IN on the top menu) and from the BGISD app, which is available for free and can be used from both Apple and Android phones.

More About Rooms

BGISD Rooms syncs with Family Household Information in the student information system: Infinite Campus. Guardians connect to Rooms with a cell phone number or email address that matches contact information in Infinite Campus. (Check Campus Parent > More > Family Information)

If no personal email is listed in Infinite Campus Family Information, guardians will not be able to sign in to Rooms with an email address.

Also, the same phone number or email may not be used to connect more than one parent/guardian to Rooms. Each guardian must have a unique email and phone number.

Contact your school office to make changes to Household Information.

Students connect to Rooms using their BGISD Student Email.

Not Receiving A Validation Code?

First confirm the phone number is correct in Infinite Campus Family Information.

Not receiving a verification code to your phone? Try texting START to 20819, then try logging in again.

Not receiving SMS notifications about unread messages in Rooms? Try texting START to 27806.

Not Receiving Messages?

Guardians may select message preferences within Rooms, choosing for Instant Delivery, Hourly Digest, or Daily Digest of messages, including hours of the day for receiving. Hourly email notifications are also an option, sending all unread messages. Class Announcements may be received as a Daily Digest or Text. There are no notifications for Behavior within Rooms.

From the app, select More > Settings ⚙️ > Notification Preferences.

Students do not receive text messages, but may receive Push Notifications in the app and email notifications.
