7th Grade Math
Below are the Mastery Learning Targets, or priorities for all students to be successful when they advance to 8th Grade Math. Mastery (M) of these skills means the student has met the grade-level standard and is independently performing on grade level. Mastery takes time to develop and may take the full school year.

Simplifies algebraic expressions (including distributive property and combining like terms)
Creates and solves two-step equations.
Creates and solves two-step inequalities.
Uses scale factor to solve problems.
Finds the area and circumference of circles.
Identifies and uses angle pairs to write and solve equations.
Calculates the volume of right prisms and pyramids.
Calculates the surface area of right prisms and pyramids.
Compares data sets using measures of center and variability.
Uses probability to describe the likelihood of an event.
Finds probabilities of compound events.
