TC Cherry is excited to officially welcome Shelby Summers as one of our new kindergarten teachers! Ms. Summers is no stranger to our school—she completed her student teaching right here at TC Cherry and is now returning to begin her first full year of teaching.
“I’m so excited to officially be a part of the TC Cherry family,” she shared. “From the moment I started student teaching, the staff and students made me feel right at home.”
In addition to her new role, Ms. Summers is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Library Informatics and Technology Education. Her love for learning, positive energy, and commitment to her students make her a perfect addition to our kindergarten team.
She’s eager to welcome her kindergartners and build a classroom community full of fun, curiosity, and support. A fun fact about Ms. Summers is that she gets the hiccups every single day—just one of the many things that makes her wonderfully unique!
