Bowling Green High School (BGHS) is proud to announce Thomas Vincent as the new Head Cheer Coach for the Purples Cheer Program.

Vincent brings an impressive record of success to BGHS, having led the Logan County High School cheer program to 7 regional championships, 5 top-four finishes at the state level, and 3 top-10 finishes at national competitions. His proven ability to build competitive, disciplined, and high-performing teams positions him well to lead one of Kentucky’s premier cheer programs.

District Athletic Director Calvin Head shared his excitement about the hire:

“We are excited to welcome Thomas to the Bowling Green High School Cheer Program. He brings a wealth of knowledge and a strong track record of regional success that will be a tremendous asset to our team. Thomas’s energy and passion are a great fit for our BGHS Cheer community, and he understands the high standard of excellence and tradition that defines our program. We are confident he will continue to build on that legacy while pushing us to reach new heights.”

Vincent expressed his enthusiasm for the opportunity:

“I know I am stepping into a program with a strong tradition and some big shoes to fill, but I am truly excited for the opportunity and ready to get started. I am looking forward to meeting all of the athletes and building on the excellence that is already here. Go Purples!”

With a strong history of success and a passion for student-athlete development, Vincent is set to continue the tradition of excellence that defines Bowling Green High School Cheer while guiding the program into its next era.
