Bowling Green Independent Superintendent Gary Fields announced Angie Ford as the next principal of Parker-Bennett-Curry Elementary. She was introduced to students and staff during morning assembly at the school on Tuesday, April 22, 2025. She will officially begin on July 1, 2025.
"I’m excited to announce Angie Ford as the next principal. She brings a wealth of experience in curriculum development, instructional coaching, and developing positive learning environments for all students,” said Superintendent Gary Fields. "We are confident that Ms. Ford’s proven leadership and dedication to student success will be a tremendous asset to Parker-Bennett-Curry Elementary and our entire district."
Angie Ford has been an Instructional Coach in BGISD since 2020, serving at Potter Gray Elementary before moving to the District Office in 2021. In this role, she has assisted with the implementation of curriculum, instruction, and district assessments, with responsibilities including Response to Intervention (RTI) programming, providing math and literacy support, and monitoring curriculum alignment with common assessments, and coaching teachers.
Before moving to Bowling Green, Ms. Ford worked for Monroe County Schools, serving as a Digital Learning Coach for two years and a Classroom Teacher for 15 years (2003-2019), teaching grades Kindergarten, 2nd, 3rd, and 5th.
