Congratulations to Angie Ford, the next principal of Parker-Bennett-Curry Elementary! Angie Ford has been an Instructional Coach in BGISD since 2020, serving at Potter Gray Elementary before moving to the District Office in 2021. In this role, she has assisted with the implementation of curriculum, instruction, and district assessments, with responsibilities including Response to Intervention (RTI) programming, providing math and literacy support, and monitoring curriculum alignment with common assessments, and coaching teachers. Before moving to Bowling Green, Ms. Ford worked for Monroe County Schools, serving as a Digital Learning Coach for two years and a Classroom Teacher for 15 years (2003-2019), teaching grades Kindergarten, 2nd, 3rd, and 5th. Angie Ford says, “I'm so excited for the opportunity to be the next principal at Parker-Bennett-Curry. I can't wait to be a part of the community and work alongside teachers and staff, to connect with families and help our students succeed every single day. It's truly an honor and I can't wait to get started.”

Welcome back to T. C. Cherry: The Kody Norris Show and TCC Alumna Mary Rachel Nalley -Norris! The award-winning country and bluegrass group visited on April 17th, performing original songs, singing with the audience, and answering questions from students in the fourth and fifth grade strings program.
