Farm to School Field Trips!
This week more than 2,000 elementary students from BGISD will visit Need More Acres Farm in Scottsville, Kentucky to learn more about where their food comes from. They’ll also bring home goodies from the farm and the Warren County Public Library.

Need More Acres, owned and operated by the Howell family, has been a partner with BGISD for several years, and provides many types of produce to the district throughout the school year and the Summer Meals Program.

The trip is made possible by the Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Grant, which provides fruit and vegetable snacks to all five elementary schools.
