The BG 2050 time capsule is in place. Students in kindergarten through 12th grades wrote letters about what our city will be like twenty-five years from now. Ideas such as flying cars, a bigger water park and, more bike lanes, but also values like they hope people are nice to each other. Ultimately, in 25 years, our students want Bowling Green to be a place they want to live, work, and raise families.
The time capsule is part of the “What Could BG Be?” Project, where community members offered ideas and opinions to help plan for future growth of Bowling Green and Warren County. The final report was made public earlier today and can be found on the website report.whatcouldbgbe.com.
