🏁 Cruising into Greatness! 🏁 Members from the Cultural Awareness Corvette Weekend, Inc. (CACW) partnered with the National Corvette Museum and stopped by Parker-Bennett-Curry Thursday afternoon. CACW is designed to celebrate African American Corvette owners and enthusiasts, but is welcoming to everyone who shares a passion for Corvettes and community.
Even with a few afternoon showers, students were able to see several Corvettes and talk with CACW members. Students also received gifts of posters and wrist bands.
Thank you CACW for helping us begin the school year with such a fun afternoon!!

Congratulations to the BGJHS Percussion Ensemble!
After a panel of judges reviewed concert recordings from last school year, BGJHS students were selected to perform at the 2026 KMEA Conference.
Percussion Director Lucas Allen says, “This is an extremely high honor, and it speaks volumes about the hard work and dedication that students have in our program, and also the support that the parents give them on a daily basis to succeed and be the very best that they can be.”

We are proud to share Bowling Green High School’s Advanced Placement results for the 2024-2025 school year! Our students excelled in these challenging classes, taking 718 AP College Board exams with a 74% pass rate, and earning 1,886 college credit hours. These results reflect the hard work and dedication of our students and teachers!
In BGISD, we are committed to providing opportunities for students, preparing them to meet individual goals for their future. Both Advanced Placement and Dual Credit Courses expose students to college-level work and can significantly reduce costs and time required to complete a college degree.
